Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)
File this one under guilty pleasures. I totally can't get Ashlee Simpson's newie Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya) out of my head. It is a seriously catchy song, a little bit Gwen Stefani-esque (ok, a lot), and I'm sure you'll be hanging out to hear it on Rage every Saturday morning for the next month or so!
I'm still
not sure why Ashlee felt the need to have all that plastic surgery
(she was gorgeous to begin with), but the girl still knows how to
front a fun pop song and if she reads this, she'd probably tell me
to shut up, because I'm "ay ya ya-ing" in her head... or something.

N.K.O.T.B.com
Well, well, well! It seems like band reunions are all the rage right now, what with The Spice Girls, The Police, and many other broken up bands getting back together. Now it looks like the boy band that pretty much started the whole boy band phenomenon are getting back together. That's right, New Kids On The Block are back!
Even if you're too young to remember them from their heyday, you're probably familiar with some of their songs, and it will be très interesting to see what their comeback is like, especially when taking into consideration that the youngest "kid" is actually 35-years-old… good thing they officially changed their name to N.K.O.T.B! Rumours still abound as to what their comeback will actually consist of, but either way, it's high time Donnie, Jordan, Joe, Danny and Jon got back together to give us girls who were too young the first time around a chance to see them strut their "right stuff"! Register at their website to get all the deets when they arise.

Charmer
Kings of Leon's latest clip is a very interesting one. Apparently they wanted to be hypnotised for the video, but their strong constitutions meant they couldn't fall under the hypnotist's spell and "3,2,1, they were back in the room!" (If you're familiar with Little Britain, you'll get the reference!) So instead, the three brothers and their uber-hot cousin simply pretended to be hypnotised, resulting in an intense and ultimately awesome clip.
The band just recently toured here, and to say they were fab live would be an understatement. If you ever get the chance to see them strutting their stuff live, you must go, and wear your dancing shoes, y'all!

It sounds just like a funky, semi-dirrrty pop song until he gets to the swoonish interlude… love it!

Rumour has it that New York is a euphemism for Winona Ryder in this song, but either way, it's gorgeous, and is also one of Ryan's best videos - shot in front of New York's Twin Towers just days before they were knocked down in the horrific events of 9/11.
